What you can do with the TaroKit wheel

TaroKit is a free online raffle tool and random name picker built around a spin wheel, with no sign-up. Paste in a list and draw prizes at a party, give away items on a stream, call on students, or settle where to eat and who pays. Whether you call it a prize wheel, a raffle wheel or a wheel spinner, it's the same tool. The common scenarios below come with example lists already loaded: click one and the wheel above switches over.

Where can you use the raffle wheel?

Some common ways people use it:

  • In class: pick which student answers next.
  • At parties and company events: run prize draws, set the speaking order or hand out chores.
  • On streams and social media: choose giveaway winners or random challenges.
  • In presentations and meetings: draw the presenting order, a lucky attendee, or who speaks first in the daily stand-up.
  • In everyday life: decide lunch, who pays, where to go this weekend, or play truth or dare.

Features

All raffle and wheel features are free and need no account.

  • Weights: set how likely each item is to be picked.
  • Leave winners out: remove a winner with one click so nobody wins twice.
  • Import: type items, paste a whole list or import a CSV saved from Excel, then shuffle, sort or remove duplicates.
  • History: every result is kept and can be downloaded as a CSV.
  • Sharing: save a result as an image, or turn the whole setup into a link.
  • Look and feel: five color themes, sound on or off, and your own spin time.
  • Backup and languages: back up your settings and restore them later; switch languages at any time.

Can I use it in OBS or other streaming software?

Yes. Press Live mode, copy the address, and add it as a Browser source in OBS. The background is transparent, so only the wheel and text show on your stream.

Why does the site show ads?

TaroKit is free and needs no sign-up, and ads cover the running costs. Fullscreen and Live mode stay free of ads. Ad services may use cookies; see the privacy policy for details.

How it works

  1. 1. Add your list

Type items one by one or paste a whole list. You can also import a CSV saved from Excel.

  2. 2. Press Spin

The result is decided and saved the moment you press. The animation can't change it.

  3. 3. See the winner

The selected entry appears in large text. Save the result as an image, or exclude the entry from future spins.

FAQ

How is the result decided?

When you press Spin, your browser picks the result with cryptographic-grade random numbers and saves it, and only then plays the animation. The animation can't change the result, and refreshing doesn't redraw. To check it yourself, open the Randomness test and compare the actual and expected draw counts. Getting the same result twice in a row is normal, because every draw is independent.

Is my list uploaded?

Your list is stored in your browser. Share links and live URLs can contain the list, so anyone with the URL can see it. You can download a backup before switching devices.

How many items can I add?

There is no set limit. We tested 5,000 items and it ran smoothly. With many items, text on the wheel shrinks or hides, and names show on the board above and in the list.

Can I exclude last time's winners?

Yes. Unchecked items don't appear on the wheel and can't be drawn, and the odds are recalculated from the remaining entries.

Can this result serve as proof for a public draw?

A draw record is only a record in this browser, not third-party certification. For public draws, we recommend streaming or recording the whole thing.

How is a spin wheel different from a plain random picker?

Both pick the result at random. The difference is that everyone can watch it happen. The wheel spins on screen, so a room or a stream can see the pointer stop, which feels more exciting than a name just appearing. If you're short on time, you can cut the spin down to 3 seconds.

Is this raffle site free, or do I need to sign up?

It's free, with no sign-up. Just open it and spin. All current features are free.
