Accepting these terms

Welcome to TaroKit. These terms apply to every language version of tarokit.com, including the random wheel, scenario pages, the Randomness test, written guides and any online tools we add later (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, please stop using it.

The Service

The Service is currently free and needs no sign-up. We may add, change, suspend or end any tool or feature at any time.

If a new tool has extra rules, they will be stated on its page and apply along with these terms. If we ever offer paid features, we will explain what they include and cost first, and charge only with your agreement. We will not move an existing free feature behind payment without notice.

Who can use the Service

Minors should use the Service with the consent and guidance of a parent, guardian or teacher, as local law requires. If you use the Service for a company, school or group, you confirm that you may accept these terms on its behalf.

What you may do

• Use it for free as an individual, school, company or non-profit, or at commercial events, for example office party raffles, picking students, live giveaways and meeting draws.
• Show the Service and its results in streams, videos, presentations and social posts.
• Link to the Service from your website or articles.

What you may not do

• Use the Service to run or support illegal gambling, or draws that break local rules.
• Commit fraud, run fake draws, or mislead people about results through editing or fabrication.
• Enter or spread content that is illegal, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory or infringes others' rights.
• Publish other people's personal data without their consent.
• Attack, disrupt or excessively automate access to the Service, or try to get around its security.
• Impersonate TaroKit, or copy this site's content or design to build a look-alike site.
• Click, view or manipulate ads through bots or other improper means.

Draw results and public events

The draw history is a local record in your browser, not third-party certification. TaroKit only provides a tool. We are not the organizer of any event and take no part in running it, delivering prizes or settling disputes.

For office parties, live giveaways and other public events, the organizer is responsible for the rules, eligibility, prize delivery, tax reporting, personal data and local law. We suggest publishing the rules in advance and streaming or recording the whole draw.

Randomness

The wheel uses cryptographic random numbers from your browser, which you can check yourself with the Randomness test. Results still depend on your device and browser working correctly. We do not promise any specific result, or that results meet the legal requirements of any event.

Your content

The lists and text you enter remain yours, and we take no rights in them. They stay in your browser and in your care. You must have the right to use them, including any personal data in your lists. You may use draw results and saved images freely.

Ads and third-party links

The Service may show third-party ads and may contain external links. Advertisers are responsible for their ads, and showing an ad is not a recommendation or guarantee from us. Any dealings or disputes between you and an advertiser or external site are between you and them. See our Privacy policy for how ad data is handled.

Intellectual property

The Service's code, design, text, images, and the TaroKit name and logo belong to TaroKit or its licensors. Apart from the uses these terms allow, you may not copy, modify, distribute or build derivative services from them without written permission.

Provided as is

The Service is provided as is. We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for your particular purpose. Your data lives in your browser and can be lost if you clear it or change devices, so back up important lists and history. Before an important event, run a real test first.

Limits of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from using or being unable to use the Service, including lost data, interrupted events or event disputes. This does not apply to harm caused by our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or to liability that the law does not allow us to exclude. Nothing in these terms affects your consumer rights under the law where you live.

Ending your use

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you break these terms, we may limit or block your access.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms when we add tools or ads or when laws change. We will update the date at the top of this page and call out any major change on the page. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China). Disputes arising from these terms go first to the Hsinchu District Court in Taiwan, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
